I love this WOW Wednesday Card design. I first discovered this card when I received it from a friend and before sending it along to my girlfriend, I sketched it so I could recreate it. A "Make It Easy Monday" Project for you....

I have a "Make it Easy Monday" project for you! As Spring begins to peek its head out, I found this card quite appropriate for today's blog post.

Using the Pool Party (#122924) and Whisper White Cardstocks (#100730), along with the Pattern Designer Series Papers 2011-2012 (#122384) in Pool Party - this card is a breeze to create. It's quick, clean, simple and easy. The Whisper White Cardstock was textured with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (#117335) and the Big Shot (#113439). Pool Party 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (#122975) was added to each side as shown using Snail Adhesive (#104332). The Patterned DSP was punched twice in each patterned with the Butterfly Punch (#119848), accessorized with the Stampin Jewels - Rhinestones, and layered on the Whisper White Cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430) and a fabulous card was born!

Scrapbook Delight

I absolutely loved creating this scrapbook page with the new Blossom Builders Designer Printed Kit (#125410) in the 2012 Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini. I started with a blank page of Baja Breeze Cardstock (#111352) and stamped it with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set (W#125535 or C#125537) using Baja Breeze Classic Stampin' Pad (#111833). I added the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (#125406) and began layering the blossoms of various colors using Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

Placing the Stampin' Jewels Rhinestones (#119246) in the flower centers made the flowers sparkle and shine. Using the Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write Marker (#123002) I stamped the sentiment "Wonderful You" from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set (W#125843 or C#125845) and clipped it onto the blossom with a Mini Library Clip (#109857) that was embellished with the Lucky Limeade Bakers Twine (#125572) tied in a bow. On the other flag, I wrote the girls names and ran it through the flower petals on the right.

The pennant flags were easy to create using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch (#122361) and bamboo skewers. Designer Buttons in Brights (#127714) were used as other flower centers and are FREE this month with our Sale-A-Bration event and your $50 purchase.

Last night, one of my favorite friends gathered her friends to come and stamp with me.

Stamp To Build is a wonderful new initiative will happen across the nation as Stampin' Up Friends and Family join in a collective effort to build a home for an extremely wounded warrior. We will partner with HelpingAHero.Org to raise $100,000 to provide this well-deserved home for a wounded soldier. Cupid's Scalloped Treat Box

Creating this little Valentine Treat container was quick and fun! Using the Scalloped Square Die and Real Red Textured Cardstock, the base of the little treat holder was formed using Sticky Strip. Scoring with the Simply Scored tool, I counted down 3 scallops on the right and left side and scored vertically, then counted two scallops on each the top and bottom sides. Once all four sides were scored, I cut the sides with the 3 scallops to the score line and folded the sides up to form the box.

I punched hearts using the Heart to Heart Punch (#119881) from the Brights Collection of DSP -(#117155) using the dotted Real Red sheet and used a heart from the collection. Then using Pretty in Pink Cardstock (#100459), I used the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die (#125596) to create the second heart used on the box front. Each were adhered to the box using the Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

I then filled the treats into the Small Cellophane Bags-3" x 5" (#103104) and closed them with the Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon (#117289). I stamped Cupid and the phrase "p.s.i love you" from the P.S. I Love You Stamp Set (#W125460 - C#125462) in Basic Black Classic Ink (#101179). I then punched Cupid with the Curly Label Punch (#119851) and the p.s.i love you with the Word Window (#119857). The PS I LOVE YOU sentiment was added to the base of the box with Stampin' Dimensionals. The Curly Label Cupid was adorned with two more small hearts from the punch and embosslits adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430). I punched it with the Crop-A-Dile (#108362) added White Baker's Twine (#124262) and threaded it through the knot on the cello bag to tie a bow --adding a bit more "cuteness" to this treat.

Enchanted Favor Box

This fantastic favor box was created using the Fancy Favor Box Die (#115965) for the Big Shot and the new Twitterpated DSP (#125406) featured in the SU! 2012 Occasions Mini. Utilizing the Textured Cardstock in Real Red (#121077)) along with the Twitterpated DSP allowed me to invert one box shape on the top of another (removing the box closure tabs on the top box) and move it slightly up to give the box more height.

The wonderful silhouette image was found in the Take it to Heart Stamp Set (W#125520 - C#125522). This was the perfect stamp to bring this fancy gift box to life. I used Real Red (#100052)and Basic Gray (#120966) Stampin' Write Markers to shade the image on the stamp and stamped it on Whisper White Cardstock (#100730). I then cut the image into a heart shape using the Heart Framelits (#125599) so it could then be layered onto the box with Stampin' Dimensionals (#104430).

As always, I used Sticky Strip (#104294) to create the box as I always want it to remain in 3D shape and not pop loose at the corners or seams. Creating a fun sentiment with Whisper White Cardstock (#100730)that I notched on each end I used the phrase " Forever & Always" from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set (W#125843 - C#125845). For a finishing touch, I popped two quick holes in the top with my Crop-A-Dile (#108362)and closed the box with SU! 1/8" Real Red Tafetta Ribbon (#119251) tied in a bow.

Array of Sunshine today in Texas....

As we experience unseasonably warm weather here in Texas, it reminded me how much I LOVE the InColors for this year - 2011-2012--and using them for this cute card just seemed natural.

Creating this layered card from the Array of Sunshine Stamp Set and the InColor Cardstocks of Pool Party (#122924) and Lucky Limeade (#122926) the card comes to life. I accented the sentiment on a layer of Whisper White (#100730) and the Island Indigo Patterned Designer Series Paper (#122384) using Stampin' Write Marker in Island Indigo. Classic Stampin' Up Inks were used in the InColors of Calypso Coral (#122939), Lucky Limeade (#122935), Pool Party (#122938) and Island Indigo (#122937) created the flowers. The layering of the largest flower was created by stamping the image three times using the Calypso Coral, cutting each layer and utilizing dimensionals to add depth and life to the flower. The 5/8" Whisper White Satin Ribbon (#114616) added the perfect detail when combined with the 3/16" white brad from the Neutrals Collection(#119736).
