Let Earth Receive Her King

I know that we all love the merriment of

Christmas and the Joy it brings to our children and family...

but without Christ there is no Joy and

merry moments are just a fleeting moment.

Christ brings the Joy to the World and God

in giving His Son for our sins

is the REAL gift at each Christmas!

This card is simply one of my favorites

and I hope it will be enjoyed by you as well.

Stamped in Raspberry Ripple on Whisper White Cardstock

the initial "Joy" message creates a background for

the silver embossed "Let Earth Receive Her King".

Raspberry Ripple Ribbon was used as an accent as well.

The foundation was also from Raspberry Ripple Cardstock

and the Whisper White layer was embossed before the

Scalloped Square accent was placed under the stamped images.

Enjoy your  creative moments today and remember to

leave comments throughout the month on various posts to

be entered into my monthly blog drawing for

{INK}redible Goodies.

Watercolor Christmas...

I enjoy watercoloring and I do it the simple way.

I remember as a little girl a sweet friend of

my Mom's who was quite an artist and oh how

I loved to go to her studio and see the beautiful things she had created.

What a wonderful Christian lady she was...just like my Mom!

Using Staz-On ink to stamp the image on watercolor paper,

I then "kissed" the two step ink with the second layer in color.

I used my blender pen next to gently move the

color into more of the open image.

Watch my blog for class opportunities to come and learn various

paper-crafting techniques as we gather for fun, food and fellowship.

I hope you enjoy today's sample of Christmas Cheer!
