Santa Gum

My little Brennan (our 4 year old Grandson) is

in absolute LOVE with GUM! . . .

and not just bubble gum or weird flavored "kid" gum...

"Minty" gum - - - as he calls it...

Soooooo . . . . I had special thoughts of him as

I created this fun gum pack treat.

I saw something similar at a gathering 

I attended a couple of years ago and wished

 I had taken a photo but 

I think my version turned out pretty cute!  

Chalkboard Christmas....

I saw a great piece of Scripture

in a store a few weeks ago

and put it in my "Create" book

so I could make my own.

I love the Chalkboard art and

used My Digital Studio (Stampin' Up!) and a 

great set of free fonts to create this

Scripture Art for my house 

this year at Christmas.

Sugar Sweet Tree

Hi Y'all . . .  I love posting fun cards 

for our Christmas Countdown!

This sweet card is a delight with the sugary sparkle of the 

Silver Glimmer Paper and Silver embossing powder.

I love the Winter Frost 

Specialty Designer Paper

and the foiling on it...

it makes a perfect accent for tree image

 in the Evergreen Stamp Set

The Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch was used 

for the glimmer paper on each side of the tree

and the Merry Mini "star" punch 

was used for the tree topper and 

Soft Sky Seam Binding created the 

ribbon accent.

The Birth of Christ

The Manger is THE Moment where Christmas began!

I love this sweet card - and while it was created 

with a retired stamp - - -

the image could easily be changed to 

another manger, angel or Christmas stamp.

Stamping the image first, then blending color
in with blender pens and
Classic Ink adds life to the stamped image.
The Crumb Cake Cardstock base
and the double mat under the image
created from Cherry Cobbler and
Gumball Green Cardstock are great accents.
The seam binding ribbon and stamped sentiment
add the finishing touches for this great card.

Merry Winter

With the anticipation of snowfall this weekend, I thought of

this sweet card and how my grandkids LOVE

snowfall and making snowballs and snowmen!

This easy to stamp card features: 

Merry Winter Stamp Set,  Cardstocks: Cherry Cobbler 

and Crumb Cake , Markers: Gumball Green, Crumb Cake,

Linen Thread, Dazzing Diamonds and 

Scallop Polka Dot Ribbon in Cherry Cobbler,  sentiment 

stamped on Whisper White and  punched with the Tag Punch (retired).

Merry Trees

I love the cherry feeling of this sweet card!

Created with an Old Olive and Real Red color

combination on Whisper White...this simple 

Christmas Card comes to life!

Adding the ribbon, button with twine, 

and punched heart border accents 

adds some great dazzle!

With Thanksgiving this week, I thought

I would share a few cards with y'all!

This is the first...

for the card base - I then added

the sentiment with the "Day of Gratitude"

stamp set from Stampin' Up! 

on Summer Starfruit cardstock

with Chocolate Chip Ink.

The small acorn came from the

same stamp set and was colored with 

markers in colors of Chocolate Chip 

and Crumb Cake.

The ribbon of accent color is 

Riding Hood Red.

Truly Grateful...

This card was a card created at 

the Gratitude Gathering Day with me

last weekend!  What a great time we had

crafting and creating while we enjoyed fun and food too!

Created on Very Vanilla Cardstock, accented with Sahara Sand

Cardstock and stamped with the Truly Grateful Stamps, 

this card was quick and simple to create.

As we all get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday,

there is food prep, table setting and a  feeling of excitement as we 

prepare for family to gather with gratitude in their hearts

for each blessing God has bestowed upon each soul.

As I shared my Autumn Bark recipe on Friday, 

I thought I should also share my fun treat packaging idea 

with each of you so that you too could create some fun

treats for little (and big) guests that join 

in your Thanksgiving Gathering.

Small Oval Punch (for stacked, embossed pumpkin),

Delicate Design Embossing Folder (side pumpkin pieces)

Lucky Limeade Marker (Flourish Vine stamped)

Chalk Talk Framelits (tag), Crumb Cake Cardstock (tag base), 

Woodgrain  Background Stamp, Brights Buttons, 

Designer Series Paper (for Clothespin), Burlap Ribbon, 

Chocolate Chip Marker (Pumpkin Stem), 

Embosslit Sweetest Stem (pumpkin leaves),

Very Vanilla Cardstock and Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set

(sentiment on flag), Dimensionals (for layering pumpkin),

Chocolate Chip Classic Ink (background stamp), Tombow adhesive.

Mug of Cheer

This great card from the 2013 Christmas Countdown

brings a warm mug of cheer to your creativity.

Using Designer Series Paper to create blocks of color,

the circles of 3" and 3.5" layer up for a nice 

base for the mug of cheer.  This mug was created with

the Holiday Collection Framelits and the 

 Scentsational Season Stamp Set.

The mini tree was punched with the Merry Minis Punch Set.

The Sentiment "Warm Winter Wishes" 

is from the Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set.

Let Earth Receive Her King

I know that we all love the merriment of

Christmas and the Joy it brings to our children and family...

but without Christ there is no Joy and 

merry moments are just a fleeting moment.

Christ brings the Joy to the World and God 

in giving His Son for our sins

is the REAL gift at each Christmas!

This card is simply one of my favorites 

and I hope it will be enjoyed by you as well.

Stamped in Raspberry Ripple on Whisper White Cardstock

the initial "Joy" message creates a background for 

the silver embossed "Let Earth Receive Her King".

Raspberry Ripple Ribbon was used as an accent as well.

The foundation was also from Raspberry Ripple Cardstock 

and the Whisper White layer was embossed before the

Scalloped Square accent was placed under the stamped images.

Creative Finance with Merry Money

Check out this fun and simple 

2013 Christmas Countdown card 

for a sweet and creative way to 

include cash in your Holiday giving.

The currency was folded into a triangle 

and then made into a tree by

placing it on a trunk of Chocolate Chip

Cardstock, as was each of the other triangles

cut from Designer Series Paper.

The fun snowflakes were stamped with the 

Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set from

Stampin' Up! and the Whisper White Craft Ink

on Midnight Muse Cardstock.

The Merry Christmas Sentiment was stamped on 

Marina Mist Cardstock also using the 

Whisper White Craft Ink.

All were mounted on a card foundation

of Gumball Green Cardstock.

The small star topping the currency tree 

was punched from the Silver Foil Sheet

with the Star in Merry Minis Punch Set. 

Merry Snowmen

Can't you just see the merriment here?  I love these

cute little snowmen and the merriment they portray

in this fun 2013 Christmas Countdown Card.

I adore the combination of the Real Red and Soft Sky Cardstocks.

The Real Red Ribbon and Dazzling Diamonds also add great contrast.
