placed on Sahara Sand Cardstock.

We Interrupt this Christmas Countdown . . .

With Thanksgiving this week, I thought

I would share a few cards with y'all!

This is the first...

Created with My Digital Studio

for the card base - I then added

the sentiment with the "Day of Gratitude"

stamp set from Stampin' Up! 

on Summer Starfruit cardstock

with Chocolate Chip Ink.

The small acorn came from the

same stamp set and was colored with 

markers in colors of Chocolate Chip 

and Crumb Cake.

The ribbon of accent color is 

Riding Hood Red.

Truly Grateful...

This card was a card created at 

the Gratitude Gathering Day with me

last weekend!  What a great time we had

crafting and creating while we enjoyed fun and food too!

Created on Very Vanilla Cardstock, accented with Sahara Sand

Cardstock and stamped with the Truly Grateful Stamps, 

this card was quick and simple to create.

Gathering with Gratitude...

As we all get ready for the Thanksgiving holiday,

there is food prep, table setting and a  feeling of excitement as we 

prepare for family to gather with gratitude in their hearts

for each blessing God has bestowed upon each soul.

As I shared my Autumn Bark recipe on Friday, 

I thought I should also share my fun treat packaging idea 

with each of you so that you too could create some fun

treats for little (and big) guests that join 

in your Thanksgiving Gathering.

Supplies used for this project include:

From Stampin' Up!: 

Tangerine Tango Cardstock and 

Small Oval Punch (for stacked, embossed pumpkin),

Delicate Design Embossing Folder (side pumpkin pieces)

Lucky Limeade Marker (Flourish Vine stamped)

Chalk Talk Framelits (tag), Crumb Cake Cardstock (tag base), 

Woodgrain  Background Stamp, Brights Buttons, 

Designer Series Paper (for Clothespin), Burlap Ribbon, 

Chocolate Chip Marker (Pumpkin Stem), 

Embosslit Sweetest Stem (pumpkin leaves),

Very Vanilla Cardstock and Fabulous Phrases Stamp Set

(sentiment on flag), Dimensionals (for layering pumpkin),

Chocolate Chip Classic Ink (background stamp), Tombow adhesive.

Other Supplies : 

Sweet Flourish Stamp, Clothespin, Cotton Twine,

various Embossing Folder (front pumpkin piece).

Fabulous Friday Recipe

It's FRIDAY!!! YAY!! I know some of you 

are doing the "Yippee!" Dance as the weekend is close!

This week my Fabulous Friday Recipe features

a great Autumn Candy Bark  I made for a sweet treat

at my Gratitude Gathering held last weekend.

Mug of Cheer

This great card from the 2013 Christmas Countdown

brings a warm mug of cheer to your creativity.

Using Designer Series Paper to create blocks of color,

the circles of 3" and 3.5" layer up for a nice 

base for the mug of cheer.  This mug was created with

the Holiday Collection Framelits and the 

 Scentsational Season Stamp Set.

The mini tree was punched with the Merry Minis Punch Set.

The Sentiment "Warm Winter Wishes" 

is from the Bootiful Occasions Stamp Set.

Let Earth Receive Her King

I know that we all love the merriment of

Christmas and the Joy it brings to our children and family...

but without Christ there is no Joy and 

merry moments are just a fleeting moment.

Christ brings the Joy to the World and God 

in giving His Son for our sins

is the REAL gift at each Christmas!

This card is simply one of my favorites 

and I hope it will be enjoyed by you as well.

Stamped in Raspberry Ripple on Whisper White Cardstock

the initial "Joy" message creates a background for 

the silver embossed "Let Earth Receive Her King".

Raspberry Ripple Ribbon was used as an accent as well.

The foundation was also from Raspberry Ripple Cardstock 

and the Whisper White layer was embossed before the

Scalloped Square accent was placed under the stamped images.

Creative Finance with Merry Money

Check out this fun and simple 

2013 Christmas Countdown card 

for a sweet and creative way to 

include cash in your Holiday giving.

The currency was folded into a triangle 

and then made into a tree by

placing it on a trunk of Chocolate Chip

Cardstock, as was each of the other triangles

cut from Designer Series Paper.

The fun snowflakes were stamped with the 

Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set from

Stampin' Up! and the Whisper White Craft Ink

on Midnight Muse Cardstock.

The Merry Christmas Sentiment was stamped on 

Marina Mist Cardstock also using the 

Whisper White Craft Ink.

All were mounted on a card foundation

of Gumball Green Cardstock.

The small star topping the currency tree 

was punched from the Silver Foil Sheet

with the Star in Merry Minis Punch Set. 

Merry Snowmen

Can't you just see the merriment here?  I love these

cute little snowmen and the merriment they portray

in this fun 2013 Christmas Countdown Card.

I adore the combination of the Real Red and Soft Sky Cardstocks.

The Real Red Ribbon and Dazzling Diamonds also add great contrast.

from my favorite office store - Staples.

Christmas Scrapbooks

Christmas scrapbooks are a 

favorite in our family, 

but I must confess...

I'm not sure I will ever catch up!

I love the idea of creating the scrapbooks in

My Digital Studio because it gives me hope that

one day my books could be finished.

I'm also the gal that loves the hands on touch of creating each page,

putting just the right embellishment on the special spot and selecting

just the right colors and papers.  My Digital Studio is great in that 

way as well as I can print digital pages on my HP wide format printer and

use them just as if they were original 12" x 12" DSPs.

This Scrapbook page was created in a mere 10 minutes with 

My Digital Studio and is my feature today for the 

2013 Christmas Countdown.

I created the letters out of the Silver Glitter paper and 

my Alphabet dies on the Big Shot.
