Praise the Name of God

Each time I think about praising 

the name of God in song, I remember 

family get togethers and how my family

would gather to sing 

old hymns around my Mamaw's 

antique grand piano as she or my mother

played the music and the harmonies from

family began to melt together.

Each time I read this Scripture, I

remember fondly those days and 

feel so blessed to have such a 

rich Christian heritage...

and I give Thanks!

Once in a Lifetime...

This card was created from a great little stamp  

that is part of the See Ya Later Stamp Set 

in the 2014 Sale-A-Bration  from Stampin' Up!

The color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Summer Starfruit 

and Basic Gray is quite attractive.  I used the 

Decorative Dots Embossing folder to deboss 

the layer of block colors.  In Color Stitched Ribbon in 

Summer Starfruit was added as an accent under the 

Whisper White layer for the Sentiment that was stamped in

Basic Gray and accented with the Red Glimmer heart.

Key to My Heart

Today's feature for 14 Days of Love

is elegant and quick to create.

This 5" square card of Whisper White has a

layer of Designer Series Paper from the Fresh Prints 

Paper Pack adhered with Dimensionals.

Next, using a great set of 

Spellinders Heart Circles Dies, 

I created the Real Red foundation.

I then added a Heart shape cut 

with the Hearts Framelits

and adhered a Golden Lock Plate 

cut from a Gold Foil Sheet.

To do this I started with a square and

punched a Tiny Tag shape

 out of the middle

and then crafted the outer shape 

to look like a lock plate.

Both were embossed with the 

Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder 

before being adhered to the 

heart foundation with Dimensionals.

The key was cut using the 

Gold Foil Sheet again and

Spellbinders Lacy Hearts Dies.

Notice that the 3 mini hearts on the 

Whisper White Heart were the punched 

hearts that came out of the 

Hearts Circles Die of Real Red.

A Little Valentine Shaker....

I love Valentine's Day almost as much as Christmas

 and I love this cute Valentine Shaker Card.

I used some scrapbooking paper 

I had for the background,

added a heart shaped window 

by punching the lower left corner.

Then I added a transparency sheet

and punched a ton of tiny hearts.  

I then placed Dimensionals on the backside of the

heart shaped window in a solid line

 creating an encasement to hold my 

teeny tiny little hearts and I closed it with a scrap 

of white paper to match my card foundation.

Create a flag with the Be My Valentine Stamp from 

Delightful Dozen stamped in Real Red and

 punch the edge with the Full Heart Punch.

I then created a frame for the window 

using my heart punch and a heart shaped frame lit.

(I ADORE THOSE FRAMELITS)

I embossed the framelit  and added the 

banner before adding it to the window - 

and then I dressed it up with a little bling!

To finish, add the windowed layer 

to the card foundation.

Love you to the Moon....

What a sweet thought - - - 

"I love you to the Moon and back!"

I love to use scraps and this card 

was the perfect way to use some 

paper scraps from the Fresh Prints Designer Series 

Paper Stack out of my "magic box". 

I made the larger moon by cutting the circle 

using the Circles Framelits by Stampin' Up

and then I ran it through the Big Shot with the 

Decorative Dots Textured Embossing Folder

(using the debased side).  I then sponged Basic Gray 

around the edges and over the "craters" in the moon.

I punched the small hearts from the Small Heart Punch 

and the banner tab came from the Petal Cone die 

and it was cut from the new 

2013-15 Stampin' Up! InColor Coastal Cabana. 

(LOVE that color!)

When making the oval for the 

LOVE YOU TO THE MOON sentiment

I used Whisper White Cardstock and 

Stampin' Up Markers in the colors:

Real Red, Summer Starfruit, 

Basic Gray and Bermuda Bay.

Cherubs & Golden Arrows

I love the way this sweet and EASY 

Valentine card came together...

I started with a 5" x 10" card base of 

Marina Mist scored in half with a coordinating piece

of scrapbooking paper that is 4.75" square.

I found these sweet heart shaped doilies 

and knew right away I would use them for a card.

I added the cherub and golden arrow cut from 

a big shot die using Pink Pirouette Cardstock and

the Gold Foil Sheets from Stampin' Up!

Using the Real Red Ink - I sponged the edges of the 

cherub to create a distressed effect - Viola! - sweet card!
